1.Purpose
This Information Security Policy (“the Policy”) sets forth the basic principles for information security at Adachi Co., Ltd. (“the Company”). Recognizing appropriate information management as a critical management priority, the Company establishes this Policy to ensure the protection of information assets.
2.Publication of the Policy
As a company committed to providing automotive parts safely and reliably, we handle customer information and corporate confidential information with the utmost care. We continually implement appropriate defensive measures against risks such as information leaks, in order to earn the trust of our customers and stakeholders.
Accordingly, we make this Policy available both internally and externally, and, in conjunction with our “Privacy Policy,” we declare our commitment to compliance with its provisions.
3.Scope of Application
All employees, officers, and temporary staff of the Company shall comply with this Policy and the Privacy Policy.
4.Information Security Management System
To protect and appropriately manage all information assets in our possession, the Company regularly convenes an Information Security Committee composed of members of senior management. This committee monitors the Company-wide status of information security, identifies risks, and ensures the timely implementation of necessary countermeasures.
5.Implementation of Information Security Measures
To prevent incidents such as unauthorized access, destruction, leakage, or alteration of information assets, the Company implements comprehensive measures, including:
- Establishment of an appropriate organizational structure for information security
- Physical, technical, operational, managerial, and human safeguards
- Incident response protocols
6.Development of Internal Rules on Information Security
The Company formulates internal regulations based on this Policy and the Privacy Policy, and thoroughly communicates clear policies and rules within the organization to ensure appropriate management of information assets.
7.Information Security Education
We provide ongoing training and education for all employees and related parties to enhance information security literacy and ensure the proper management of the Company’s information assets.
8.Management of Outsourced Service Providers
When outsourcing all or part of our operations, the Company carefully evaluates the suitability of service providers and stipulates, through contractual agreements, that they maintain security standards equivalent to our own. We also conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure these standards are consistently upheld.
9.Compliance with Laws and Regulations
In addition to complying with applicable laws and regulations, the Company strictly enforces adherence to internal policies and rules. Any violations will be dealt with firmly to maintain proper information management.
10.Internal Audits on Information Security
We conduct regular or ad-hoc internal audits to verify compliance with information security-related laws, regulations, and internal rules, and to ensure that these measures are functioning effectively.
11.Continuous Improvement
The Company operates an organization-wide Information Security Management System (ISMS) and is committed to the ongoing improvement of its information security practices.
